Lockout/Tagout web application

The web app that runs your Lockout/Tagout procedure lifecycle.

Energy-source libraries, photo annotation, org templates, and live preview — so posted procedures stay on-brand and consistent across sites. Training

Know who may lock out each machine

Training / Audit ties people to equipment. Shops hold your Authorized and Qualified people, Asset Authority says which shops may work on each installed machine, and the posted QR code shows that roster on the floor. Sessions, sign-in sheets, and reminders keep the record current.
ShopsGroup people into shops, such as Mechanical or Electrical, and mark who is Authorized and who is Qualified.
Asset AuthorityCheck which shops may perform lockout/tagout on each installed machine. ISIQ shows how many machines have no shop yet.
Live roster on the QR codeScanning a posted procedure’s QR code shows the current Authorized and Qualified people for that machine, by shop.
Sessions and sign-in sheetsRecord each training session, tick attendance, attach photos of the sign-in sheet, and re-train selected people.
Schedule and remindersRepeat training every 1 to 120 months. Email a reminder up to 365 days before the next session, or start a training cycle on demand.
Training reportsRun a yearly attendance report for each person, or email a training report PDF.
ISIQ surfaces coverage risk for supervisors — it does not invent a permit-to-work hard gate. Humans remain in control of who may service equipment.

FAQ

What can you do in ISIQ?

What does the Industrial Safety IQ web app do?

ISIQ manages the Lockout/Tagout lifecycle in one place: create energy-control procedures (sources, steps, photos, templates), check them against your Quality Control rules, send them through review and approval, print tags and QR labels, mark them installed, keep shop training and equipment audits on schedule, and run reports across sites.

How do you create a Lockout/Tagout procedure in ISIQ?

A guided New Procedure wizard walks authors through headers, energy sources, isolation steps, photos, and org templates, with live preview. Checkout lets one person edit a procedure at a time, and every save is checked against your Quality Control rules.

What are Quality Control rules?

A rule library of fixed checks, such as "every lockout step has an image" or "a safety advisory is selected". Procedures that fail still save, and the warnings show in Preview, in Review, and on the Quality Control page. You can describe a rule in plain words and AI drafts it, but the checks themselves are not run by AI.

How do reviews, printing, and installation work?

Dashboard Reviews queues procedures for reviewers with due dates. Approved procedures go to the Print Que, where you preview tags and print QR labels. A procedure is marked installed from the Print Que or by scanning its QR code, and Explore shows every asset’s stage and flags anything stuck for more than 14 days.

Does ISIQ track Lockout/Tagout training?

Yes. Group people into shops with Authorized and Qualified members, choose which shops may lock out each installed machine (Asset Authority), record training sessions with attendance and sign-in sheet photos, set a repeat schedule with reminder emails, and run yearly attendance and training reports. Scanning a posted QR code shows the machine’s current Authorized and Qualified roster.

How do equipment audits work?

Each site sets an audit interval and a list of auditors. An auditor scans the procedure QR code and records Pass or Fail with notes. A Pass moves the next audit date forward by the interval; a Fail leaves it due. Reminder emails and the Procedures Due for Audit report keep the schedule visible.

Can one organization run multiple sites?

Yes. Procedure capacity is shared across sites you create. Admins manage sites, users, roles, and search procedures across the organization from the same web workspace.
